fishorfreeze Great story.. My bestfriend and i went to northeast pa to find stealhead. We found some. well actualy a mess load of them. But this pic and memory, i will never forget. My buddy Ben has never been stealhead fishing before this day. Around in the middle of the day, I went to my car to call my girfriend and to see how her and our one year old little angel was doing. After i got off the phone with her i walked back down the creek to see how ben was doing. To my suprise i noticed his rod bent way over. I yelled to him '' got one on" He responded with a great big smile"it's a big one". So i told him to keep fighting it and that i was on my way to help and take his picture. But on the way to him, I was flipping a minnow. And when i almost got to him, I had one on. I told him that we have a double going. At the same time that i was fighting my fish i couldnt help to look over at ben to watch him fight his fish. I realy wanted to double but i would have been just satisfied with ben landing his. The excitement that was on his face was priceless. We ended up landing our fish about the same time. Mine is on the left. It was around 25''-26'' long. But Ben's was 30 1/2''. Let me remind you that i have been fishing for stealheads for around 4-5 years and i never cought one over 30''. A few that was realy close. But ben caught one over 30'' on his second stealhead that he has ever caught. And this was fis first time. Ever since the first time i went stealhead fishing for the first time, I knew if Ben would move back to pa. that he would love to stealhead fish. And to double when we finaly got to go up together"PRICELESS"
