Took my 11 year old granddaughter on her first overnight fishing trip to Bartlett Lake. I told her it was her responsibility to catch plenty of bait for me to fish for flathead cats overnight. Well she certainly came through on that point catching at least 50 to 60 bluegill and green sunfish and three 6" channel cats . Most were released, some kept for bait, and 2 bluegills, 1 green sunfish, and 1 channel cat ending up in my aquarium . This was a shoreline fishing trip. Next time I'll take her out on my boat overnight .
