Walden Pond
Went to Walden pond today to test a new Shimano rig before the weather turns bad. Light Clarus Casting Rod and Chronarch 50e. Was testing it with various 1/4 ounce baits when I caught this guy on a swim shad.

There was no one else there yesterday. It was awesome! I also went the day before and caught this guys twin. There was one other guy the day before, but he was on the other side of the pond. I only saw rainbows chasing my lures and turning them down until I caught this one. Took about 2 hours of trying various lures before I got this one. The water is so clear at Walden and he bit 10 feet off the shore. It was awesome to watch!

Awesome! Some open water December fishing. Was anything else being caught, if there were others there?
