Lee Valley lake is a great lake for brook and grayling. It is a flys only lake with a two trout limit over 12 inches. However the road Rt 273 to the lake is presently closed for repairs through summer of 2008. Further up the road (273), you will find sheeps crossing where the road crosses the little colorado river and used to be a great location for browns and brooks
Loved by fly fishermen and breath-taking in its setting, Lee Valley Lake sparkles below the flanks of Mount Baldy. A beautiful lake year-round, Lee Valley is especially glorious in the fall when aspen are changing to their golden colors and elk can be heard bugling at dawn and dusk.
