If you fish in flooded brush or timber, you need to keep your boat stationary as you cast the cover. Unless you have a power pole (expensive) on your boat, the alternative is anchoring and spooking the fish in the process. Instead, purchase a cheap set of battery jumper cables, split them down the middle with a razor knife. Now you have 2 brush grabbers to secure your boat. take one and attach one of the clips to the brush/timber where you want to fish, then attach the clip on the other end to your bow eye or bow cleat. Now your boat is stationary.....silently!
