Maybe it's just me, but on our gin clear lakes where I fish (primarily Pleasant and Bartlett) I don't care for the traditional bright colored fly lines. I prefer less conspicuous lines, so I've discovered these lines for my bass and panfish rigs. On my 5/6 weight panfish rig I use Scientific Anglers Lefty Kreh Signature Series WF6F line in willow color (kind of a dusty mossy green). On my 7 weight bass rig I use World Wide Sportsman Extreme Salt Water WF7F line in light blue color. From below this line blends in with the sky making it very inconspicuous. It is also formulated for very hot weather and for casting heavy flies in a stiff breeze. I highly recommend both lines for anyone who fly fishes for bass and panfish. Happy fishing!
