Dutch Oven Trout and Bacon Recipe for Trout

Ingredients: 5 slices bacon
4 medium trout
salt and pepper
lemon
Directions: Partly precook 5 slices of bacon in a frying pan.Preheat your dutch oven and pour the bacon grease into the bottom of it. Put the trout in a layer to cover the bottom (about 4 medium-sized ones). Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Lay the bacon over the trout. Put the lid on and cook in the oven at medium heat about 15 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
