- We used live and cut bluegill, and frozen squid for catfish, nightcrawlers for bass and bluegills. I also used a foam beatle on a 5/6 weight fly rod for bluegills.
- Caught the 6 pound channel on a red wet fly with a piece of squid tentacle as a trailer.

Canyon Lake Description
Canyon lake is the next lake down the Salt River chain of lakes, between Apache lake and Saguaro Lake. It is accessed from the Apache Trail going out of Apache Jct.
Canyon Lake is one of four reservoirs that were formed by the damming of the Salt River in the U.S. state of Arizona.
