Stationed at FT campbell, i like to fish for catfish off the bank. Usually have a couple lines in the water while i jig for bass or skipjack. Even if i don't catch anything i always catch a buzz.

Fishing Techniques
I usually like to fish off the bank, near creek mouths where bait fish concentrate. I fish jigs until i can catch a baitfish then i usually put a couple heavy rigs out for catfish. I like to fish around these spots because alot of different species congregate there and you are pretty much guaranteed to catch something.

Fort Campbell Trout hunt

Went fishing in cav country on Fort Campbell, hit a small pond and caught a 2 1/2 pound largemouth on pumpkin colored chatter bait. After that i hit the creek for about 4 hours, nailed small brook trout all day on Rooster Tails and Beetle spins. Also caught the most beautiful sunfish I've ever seen in my life . Had to hike back a ways in the woods to find a good hole. I think the hole was spring fed, pretty deep also. Started out under the old bridge by East End Road and worked my way north up the creek, beautiful back in there, lots of deer also . Not very big, but theses little guys fight 'till the end, lots of fun.

Bass fishing in Kentucky lake

Fished for largemouth on the TN side of KY lake . Fished off the shore , no boat, but nailed a nice 5 pound largemouth under the 79 bridge.
