My wife and I took our middle son, his wife, and 2 youngest children(grandson 18, granddaughter14) boating on Lake Pleasant today Taught everyone how to drive the boat. They all had a great time and seemed like they all caught the "boat bug". My granddaughter really loved driving the boat. I told her I learned to drive my grandfather's boat at 13 and she should learn how too. She loves fishing and I'm taking her fishing to Bartlett lake in a few weeks and told her she can do a lot more driving there as there is much less lake traffic there. Can't wait to hook her up with some of Bartlett's 20 to 75 pound flathead catfish!
After my last boating trip I noticed my trailer bunks were missing the bolt from the attachment bracker at the rear of the bunks and a few screws thar attach the bunks to the brackets, so after I launch the boat on my next fishing trip in 11 days I need to replace that hardware while the boat is off the trailer.
